We are excited to see everyone in Stillwater on Friday, August 4 & Saturday, August 5 for our Summer Conference and Contests.

Contest Rules:
All Contests/Contestants – General Rules
Contestants must pre-register by submitting entry form AND registration on or before entry deadline to be eligible.
Team contestants shall be current, active (paid) members of the OSAA AND registered for the OSAA Summer Conference at the time of the entry deadline.
Contestants will meet for orientation and to draw for order at a designated time on Friday. Sound Check will be available.
The contest committee will go over all entry forms prior to the contestant meeting, and the roll call will be conducted using the submitted entry forms. If a contestant is unable to attend the meeting, but can be there for the contest, they will automatically be first to go in the contest. If they are not there or are not ready when their number is called to compete, they receive a no score with no refund of registration.
The exact judging score sheets will be provided to contestants at this meeting.
The sound systems will be preset and will not be adjusted during the contest. All contestants will be given the opportunity to test the sound system during the orientation meeting.
Judges are selected prior to contest and their decisions and scoring will be final.
Each contestant or team must provide two (2) items for auction valued at $25+ each, and will sell their own items during the competition.
All winners will be announced at the close of Summer Conference on Saturday.
Past winners are not eligible to compete in that division after winning in the same capacity in which they won. (I.e. if Jane is the ring person & Joe is the auctioneer when they win, they cannot compete in the same capacity. However, Jane could be the auctioneer & Joe the ring person or they can compete with an entirely different partner in any capacity).
All team contestants receive one free entry. $10 per additional entry.
Junior Division
Contestant must be 18 years old OR younger on the day of competition.
Contestant must provide two (2) items for auction valued at $25+ each.
Contestant does NOT need to be registered for convention or a Dues Paid Member.
Contest to be conducted on Friday evening
FREE TO ENTER – PRIZE = buckle, plaque.
Team Division
Teams shall consist of at least one current, active (paid) member of the OSAA AND registered for the OSAA Convention at the time of the entry deadline.
Teams shall consist of one auctioneer and one ring person.
Contestants will be responsible for choosing their own teams.
FREE TO ENTER – PRIZE = $600 shared cash prize, 2 buckles, 2 plaques, one-year OSAA dues paid for both contestants.
OAS Division
Contestants must have graduated Auction School in June of 2023.
